| My name is Cecilia Teem. I have been in education for 24 years. This is my fourth year teaching second grade at Cullasaja. I taught first grade at Cullasaja Elementary for 12 years. Prior to teaching first grade I taught kindergarten, second, third, fourth, and Title I in which I worked with students from kindergarten through 6th grade. While attending college I worked with 3 and 4 year olds as a teaching assistant in our local Headstart program. I have an Associate Arts Degree from Southwestern Community College in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor's Degree from Mars Hill College in Elementary Education, and a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Western Carolina University. I am married to Ricky Teem who grew up in the Cullasaja Community and attended Cullasaja Elementary School. I have one daughter Jessica, who also attended Cullasaja Elementary. I have 3 dogs, 1 cat, 1 cockatiel, 5 goldfish, and a 3 foot long California King Snake.. As you can tell I am an animal lover. I enjoy reading, camping, boating, and spending time with my family. |
