Phil stated that he will not do another season. He has been looking for a replacement for 2 years. No volunteers. Phil brought up a way to save costs. In the past many years, we have purchased the 120 trophies through Trophies and More located here in Marion. We have paid $1,000 for them. By purchasing trophies through Crown Trophies, (mail order catalog), we could probably save about $200. This is where Phil has been getting the medals the last few years. We might be able to get free shipping along with free engraving. Phil made a motion to pursue this option, Rondel 2nd, after no discussion a 6-0 vote passed this motion. Phil stated that he would send out the following by April 20th. 1. schedules 2. umpire list 3. fall league information 4. meeting minutes Due Today: Fees due. Need # of teams, coaches name and phone #. Rosters must have birthdays and are due May 1st , 2006 to Phil. Can e-mail to [email protected] Next Meeting: August 27th at 5pm at RV Complex for the fall league organization. |
