Boy Scouts - Turtle ID Trip-which was originally to be Snake ID Trip-but weather didn't prove good for snakes. May 12, 2001-the Snake ID Trip is scheduled for July 14, 2001
We all went to the Lehigh Canal and looked for turtles-The kids found some Musk and Painted Turtles-They did catch some Musk Turtles-They tried to catch Painted Turtles but the turtles were a bit too sneaky. They caught some frogs, too.
They all got wet and muddy and seemed to be having a great time in the water-much to parents dismay :-)
as they had to load all the muddy wet scouts into cars to go home. |
