CCORAM DEO : (Lat.) “Face to Face With God”C
A NEW EMBLEM AND A HISTORY
Inspired by the Coat of Arms that came to
symbolize the royal clans of old nobility, as well as the themes and symbols of
previous MCP-A National Conferences, which speak of the ever-developing heart of
MCP-Asia up to the present, this new emblem combines various elements that
reflect the very soul and spirit of Master’s Commission here in the
Philippines and in Asia.

The emblem, a shield, is made up of the following elements: The Scroll, the Four Symbols, the Central Cross, and the Crest.
1) The Scroll – This element reminds us of our birth and beginning,
when a 10-man team led by Rev. Lloyd Zeigler, Master’s
Commission’s International Director, came to the Philippines at the invitation
of Rev.
Jaren Lapasaran, Senior Pastor and Founder of Jesus Our Hope
International Assembly (JOHIA), where Master’s Commission began
locally. It was they who first sparked the “Revolution”
that would impact our lives by birthing “M.C.” as
an in-house ministry in JOHIA Cubao,
Q.C. back in 1996. We would never be the same again.
The
Four Symbols (Blood
red, to speak of the saving blood of Christ):
2) The
Eagle’s Head – This is taken from the very first rallying cry (“No
Limits!”) of MC. It stands for the “No
Limits” Faith that flows from Luke
1:37’s declaration, “For with God nothing is impossible!” From this word,
symbolized by the picture of an eagle crashing through the international symbol
for “No!”, we held our first local Human Video workshop in
Cubao, and saw the Lord birth another MC chapter in Butuan, Mindanao
that would activate the seeds of an anointing for nationwide ministry and the
birth of M.C. Philippines (MCP).
3) The Blazing Flame – Spurred by the faith-filled declaration of
‘96, MC embarked in 1997 on a most ambitious project: a massive Human Video
Training Workshop that gathered over 300 souls ablaze for God’s glory. Dubbed “Philippines ON FIRE!”
it still remains our biggest project to date. This workshop, which had a
Burning Bush as its symbol, is largely responsible for MC going nationwide. A
few months after this, MC Philippines was taken by the Lord’s hand to Myanmar
(formerly Burma) and saw the beginnings of MCP-Asia. This Blazing Flame speaks of MCP’s “On
Fire” Zeal that helped set the nation, even Asia, on fire!
4) The Whole Heart – 1998 was the year the Lord allowed MCP-Asia to
be represented for the first time in the
MC International Network’s Annual Conference, dubbed “Wholehearted
’98,” in Phoenix First Assembly, Phoenix, AZ, USA. “Philippines
WHOLEHEARTED” saw the nationwide MCP family come together for the first
time and receive the “Wholehearted”
Love for God and this ministry, that was passed on, captured and more
fully understood in Phoenix. We returned to Myanmar and saw the Lord finally
birth MCP-Asia with MC chapters in Yangon, Lashio and Mandalay!
5) The Warrior’s Sword – Still going on the Spirit’s momentum, we
went with “Full
Force” Obedience into the Lord’s ever-expanding will.
This time, in ’99, the Lord took MCP-A into 4
Asian countries, with opportunities to minister in Myanmar anew (where
we were joined by a 20-man team from MC Phoenix led by Rev. Lloyd Zeigler himself!), as well as Sri Lanka, Thailand and Nepal! Warriors
were going worldwide, swords in hand… Full Force!
6) The Central Cross – The years that followed have seen MCP-Asia
fulfilling its God-ordained mission to inflame and disciple the youth of the
Philippines and Asia, ever keeping the
central message of the Gospel at the forefront : that it is Jesus
alone, through the power of the victory won at the Cross, Who is
able to change us and take us to an Eternal Destiny “Above and Beyond”
our abilities, and in spite of our weaknesses and limitations.
7) The Crest – Lastly, but certainly not the least, this element,
which contains our motto and battlecry, is at the very top of the
emblem because it speaks of our
top-priority, our “Desperate
Passion” above all… to
experience God and to intimately know Him “CORAM
DEO”…face to face.
Now on our seventh year of
existence, we who comprise the Master’s Commission Philippines-Asia Network
are part of a global body of World Changers, warrior-worshippers
recklessly abandoned to the cause of Christ, that encircles the planet from all
over the United States, throughout Europe, in Asia and, now, even in places like
Macedonia!
Our desire and goal
for adopting this new emblem is that, by it, we,
the MC warriors of Asia would have a
symbol that would unite us and inspire us to rise up to our calling and
anointing every time we see it. In the same way that the Golden Arches
have come to symbolize McDonald’s®
or the familiar soda bottle as the Coca-Cola®
trademark throughout the world, we want to take this emblem and live up to what it stands for
and, by so living, have the world around us come to associate this symbol with
people who are truly…
“Knowing
God and Making Him known…NOW!”
