After successfully completing all requirements for commissioning and graduation from Southern University, Jackson was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was immediately placed on inactive duty to attend the Tulane University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating from Tulane University School of Law with Juris Doctor and passing the bar exam, Major Jackson entered full-time active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps. Major Jackson has worked as a defense counsel, legal assistance attorney, tax attorney, deputy staff judge advocate, Head Reserve Officer- Procurement Branch, and Head Law Programs Section at the Marine Corps Recruiting Command. Major Jackson was also recently selected to return to law school to pursue an advanced law degree (LLM).
