Colorado

Summer 2003, Andy and I took advantage of how close Colorado is to us and we hit Denver and Colorado Springs. Since we're only 5 hours away from Denver, we hope to go back again someday.

The first thing you see when you cross the border, besides rain and snow.

Our first stop was a science museum and look who we found...the characters to "Finding Nemo."

Hard Rock Cafe - Denver, Colorado

At the zoo, Andy found his favorite animal...The Penguin.

Hey Hippopotamus es es !!! (Inside Joke!)

Here we are standing at the Red Rocks Amphitheater

Coors Brewing company since 1873 - Golden, Colorado

Rocky Mountain National Park

Here I am on the continental divide. The rivers go in seperate directions from here. Some flow to the Atlantic Ocean while the others flow to the Pacific Ocean.

This is the river below the George Town Loope Train. What a beautiful place!

Here is the view on top of Mt. Evans, elevation 14,264 feet

While we were in Colorado Springs, we went to a balloon show. It was awesome!

For the curious, we stopped by Oakley on the way home and finally saw "The World's Largest Prarie Dog." Andy just HAD to see it.

And here is the 6 legged cow. Poor cow.
