CANCUN

The fine arts department at Friends went to Cancun, Feb 99. The Carribean water is so beautiful. If you ever get the oppurtunity to go to Cancun, I highly recommend it. It is very peaceful and relaxing...good for a honeymoon. :)

Here is the coastline of Cancun from the air plane. See how the clouds are hovering over the land? Fascinating.

Here are some of my music buddies enjoying dinner while I take their photo. left to right: Caroline Gasper, Sara Baize, Chris James, Matt Hanne, Matt Skillen, and Dawn Chisom.

Here is my second Hard Rock Cafe. It was really cool because it was in the center of a walk-up mall. There was no front door to the mall; you just walked right into it. It was in the middle of downtown..."Party Central" for Cancun.

Xcaret: a resort that has a natural filtering system for their water. It cost quite a bit to get in, but we got in for free. ha ha! See how clear the water is on the right side? The water is naturally seperating the salt out, making it pure water.

Here is the sunset from my hotel balcony. I actually pasted this picture together from 3 different pictures. I thought it turned out good considering that. This was one of those moments you wish you could freeze forever.

This is a picture of the ceiling of our hotel. We stayed in the Hyatt, right on the corner of Cancun. We called this window a "kalydescope to paradise."

Carribean Blue: The mixing of the Atlantic Ocean into the Gulf of Mexico. There is nothing like watching the different colors of blue mix together. This is my favorite body of water compared to the Atlantic, Pacific, and the Gulf of Mexico.

Overall, Cancun was just an awesome site to experience. You could spend hours just soaking in its mere beauty.
