MCKENDREE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
McKids is the name of our school-aged children through the fifth grade. Children are engaged in weekly Sunday School lessons that are creative and hands-on. Stop by and take a look.
Sunday School begins at 9:30 AM weekly.
Children also have the opportunity to participate in Children's Choir. Our Children's Choir enhances worship throughout
the church year. Not only do they provide musical
offerings during worship, they also are actively engaged
in special productions 2-3 times a year.
Additionally, our children love helping to take care of our church grounds. They participate in family events, church-wide
events, the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Vacation Bible School,
and Sights, Sounds and Smells of Christmas which
includes breakfast with the Angels, and the Christmas Pageant..

CHILDREN'S CHURCH
Children ages 4 years through 5th grade have the opportunity to worship God at their level through our Children's Church time. Children meet in the Sanctuary for worship with their families and leave following the Children's Message time with the pastor.
Our leader's will gather the children and take them to the Education Building for worship. Parents are to pick children up immediately following the worship hour.
On Communion Sunday's, the first Sunday of each month, children will leave following the offering and return to
participate in communion time with their families.
