| McKendree United Methodist Church, located in Norfolk, VA, has a long history that is rich in tradition, yet has a vision for the future. You will find the people here very welcoming and friendly. We are a faith community that is Christ-centered; we are a community of believers who care for each other and those in our greater community. We are a United Methodist community that follows the Wesley traditions. We have committed ourselves to serve God "through our prayers, our presence, our gifts and our service that in everything GOD may be glorified". We are a nurturing community for the least, the lost and the lonely. We nurture individuals and families - children, youth and adults. We sponsor the Boy Scouts of America. Thursday's 7 PM There is a place for everyone at McKendree UMC. |
| We are located on North Military Highway between Norview Avenue and Johnstown Rd. Coming from I-64, take the Norview Ave. exit toward the airport. Make a left onto Military Highway then turn right on to Springmeadow Blvd. at the second light. From Little Creek Rd., turn south onto Military Hwy. toward the airport. You will turn left onto Springmeadow Blvd. at the light. All are Welcome. MAP |
