ST-GEORGES
DE MAL BAIE
The following is a picture of St-Georges de Mal Baie church.
The town is located between the town of Gaspe and the town of Percé.
The church is located along the highway. The grave yard of the church scales
the cliff edge that over looks the ocean. It is tradition that each family
has there own pew in the church.The walls of the church bare templates
that are engraved with the names of the families of the church. The church
is the heart soul of the community.
If you look closely at the following picture, you will
see an indian head that takes form in the rock that lies almost in the
ocean. This rock formed out of natural processes and was not carved.
