College Crest

The College emblem was adopted right after World War 2. The shield is divided into four parts; white, red, yellow and black. These are the colors of the Federated Malay States. This also represents the colors of the four houses; Idris, Sulaiman, Mohd Shah and Ahmad, to honour the four founding Sultans of the College. In the middle of the shield is a red kris, which signifies the Malay race. On top of the shield is a tiger's head, the symbol of the Federation of Malaya. Surrounding the shield is a rice laurel, which signifies excellence while the College motto is written on the scroll-Fiat Sapientia Virtus which means Manliness Through Wisdom.
