The second paper we were required to write this semester deals with a digital media/cultural issue. We had to use primary and secondary sources to support our information and create an exploratory argument.
In addition, the class was required to read and cite three articles corresponding to our chosen issue and "get to know the voices" of these authors. The paper expressed what ethical concerns the authors had and how they balanced their argument based on logos, pathos, and ethos.
My paper deals with the issue of the 2000 Election with Republican presidential candidate George W. Bush and previous Democratic vice-president, Al Gore. It explores the problems that the media encountered when covering this election. |
