Farmall 400

IH produced the Farmall 400 from 1954-1956. It has a 263.9 cid engine and weighs approximately 6,519 lbs. The 400 is virtually the same as the Farmall M, but with increased horsepower. It was one of the first competators to the John Deere 70. The 400 has 5 forward gears and 1 reverse gear. There were about 40,957 Farmall 400's produced from 1954 to 1956.
