South East Photos, New York Photos
South East
This summer's been absolutely awesome to me. I've gotten a chance to travel the East Coast like you just don't know it! I traveled as far south as Orlando, Florida and as far north as New York, New York. I havent explored these locals alone either, I was with my traveling partner, Marcela (AKA: the Dancing Queen). And for those who don't know, Marcela's my girl, who's from Norway. Her family lived here for a year and unfortunately, they just left in mid July. So she's no longer here in the US. She's back home attending college and dancing:) But anyway....
The first part of the summer, I traveled with Marcela and her family down south to Disney World in Orlando, Florida for 2 weeks. One of the coolest things were that we hit all these towns and cities on the way down that we stayed at such as Amelia Island, FL, Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA. And On the way back we hit Atlanta, GA and Smokey Mountain, NC. So the photos you may see in the Southeast section may be from Disney World, the Coke Factory in Atlanta, the docks of Charleston, SC, the beaches of Amelia Island and just every other place we hit. The map to the right is the route we traveled.

And a few weeks after the Florida trip, for one week, Marcela and I took on the big city of Manhattan with our bare hands; tag team baby. We stayed at our friend's, Janet's, apartment and did some housesitting as well. New York was awesome! Honestly, I was almost cultured shocked when we first arrived because it felt so much like I was in the movies or on some famous sitcom you usually watch on prime time TV at night. But for Marcela, no problem....for her it was like the 4th or 5th time there anyway, so the whole thing about being a part of a big NYC cliche didn't even phase her as much as it did me. But her and I must have hit every tourist attraction imaginable and then some. Places such as the Broadway shows of Stomp and Swing, Empire State building, cruising in those famous subways, visited misses Liberty herself, Time Square, and more.

Through these sets of photos, you will see the places we hit and just a touch of New Yorker life, what New Yorkers see everyday and what makes them New Yorkers. So I hope you enjoy viewing the photos and hope you come back again soon for the other sets of photos I'm gonna add soon. Party on....
