SIAM Big Event

The SIAM Big Event was held at Singgahsana Hotel in PJ. MCG, particularly,
the former SIAM members, was in the organising committee of the SIAM Big Event.
MCG was in-charged of ushering the guests, hotel logistics (on that day),
talking with guests who arrived early and making them comfortable as well as
facilitating in a discussion group. However, due to the only two members in
Annie's group, they were transferred to another group where Annie was a
co-facilitator.
MCG obliged SIAM in their late request for a presentation of the SIAM
site at: http://www.communityzero.com/siam. Charmaine and I had to do that
as we are more familiar with the site. Incidentally, the SIAM site was created
by MCG on 12 April 2002. MCG also created a site for the SIC Family Life
Ministry on 13 April 2002.
The event went well in spite of the incompetence of the Singgahsana
Hotel. Organisers of future events should think carefully before considering
using Singgahsana Hotel again. Sweets for the guests which was part of the
package never arrived. There were many other logistical problems as well.
