Those present at April's Pot-Luck Fellowship were Sister Enid, Annie & Bash,
Charmaine &
Danny, Irene & Gabriel, Linda & Roy, Nancy & Lawrence and Matthew.
This round of fellowship, we were supposed to discuss a topic called "To Create Awareness Of Understanding Each Other". However, the member who was supposed to lead in this discussion was unable to attend. Nevertheless, we did our best to discuss the topic. The singles present were also able to join in the discussion by contributing how they relate to their friends, etc.
We also discussed about the SARS issue and how it affects our religious obligations and other faith issues.
A meeting was conducted after the discussion. It is slightly over a year since MCG was started. So, it was time for Charmaine and I to step down from the chairmanship we both shared. We are very grateful to our core team members, Annie, Nancy, Lawrence, Titus and Lai Yee for their untiring support. We are also very grateful to all other who supported us for a year.
The members present decided to extend our chairmanship for another year and we accepted. As we begin our second year, we hope more people would join the group and share their thoughts with us; whether it be on married life, working life or whatever.
The screening of the Blessed Faustina Kowalska's vcd was postponed because the members present were too tired. Instead, we discussed more on the faith, the Church, etc.
Fellowship ended at around midnight.
Overall, I believe this is the best fellowship so far. This time, we achieved the record number of 12 people during the fellowship. Our humble abode is truly blessed by such wonderful people dropping by.
