Evening Prayer
Lord our God, we have come to the end of the day. We thank
you for this day and for all your blessings. We ask your
pardon for our sins, failures, and shortcomings in our work
and in our conduct towards you and towards others
(a moment of silence)
Lord our God, let our evening prayer rise up before your
throne of mercy, and let your blessings come down upon us;
so that now and forever your grace may help and save us. We
ask this through Christ our Lord.
