Out of Reality:

Many of us are so self-contained
That we do not see how we are truly out of the circle.
What is true reality many of us ask?
Many of us cannot say we know what it is,
However there are some that do know,
The question you ask yourself now is:
Am I living in a world of untruth?
Am I in a world of the serpent playing with my mind?
Under such a convincing but deadly ideal,
The human heart and mind seeks such things.
A great divide which is unseen to the naked eye.
Minds are filled with hunger of many different things,
May be power, money or simply the idea of control.
We grasp onto something that we hold dear to ourselves,
Something we cannot have and live reality the same.
The thought of giving it up is like a lightening bolt striking the heart.
However humans don’t understand, that if we give it up,
Our heart will be most protected,
For the heart will have a stronger beat than before.
Many of us are fooled and rather ignorant to what really keeps us living.
We don’t care to truly know and live for who ultimately achieves all.
We thirst for something we deny,
The serpent plays his fiddle day by day,
Humans make such an instrument of fun for him.
Without even realizing it, we play against God.
What is reality you ask again insistently?
Jesus Christ forgave us on the cross!
He gave us a second chance, a chance to live again.
So now its time to come into reality,
It is time to see the true reason why you live!
Where our true accomplishments and strengths come from,
It is time to recognize the reality of your life,
That reality is living for Jesus Christ.
