Confusion:
People can be so cruel to
each other,
In the moment we can be careless for those who we love most.
In a moment things we say seem just and fair,
In hindsight, they’re obvious that they are hurtful anger driven.
Jealousy can destroy the best of us and bring out love in us.
We stair into that abyss and wonder—
Why we say the things we do, do these wounds really heal in time?
In desperation we try to make things right;
However a refusal is upon the other persons tongue.
Innocents is far better than forgiveness,
Not many people take this seriously.
On the outside we mean what we say,
On the inside, we are filled with regret.
The spiral of hurt continues,
We fall on our knees and ask for answers,
Yet we already have them in our hearts.
It is said that the spirit is willing; however the flesh is not.
Its time to let the inside come out,
Destroy your outside desires and heal yourself in the presence of forgiveness.
