Untitled Chapter five �SO�Who�s Hayley?� Tom asked as soon as they got inside. �Hayley Bell. She�s got a friend in the building. She seems quite cool� Danny said as he dug in the fridge. �You fancy her?� Tom asked and sat down by the table with Harry and Dougie. �Nah dunno. She�s ok, I guess� Danny said not being able to admit he�d been totally hypnotized by her. �She�s cute� Harry said and the others nodded to show they agreed. �She�s got a nice handshake� Dougie said and the others all turned to stare at him. �What the hell�s that got to do with anything?� Tom giggled. �Well I�m just saying I like it when a girl�s got a nice, firm handshake� Dougie said seriously as the lads laughed at him. Two weeks passed by and Danny had begun to think that maybe Hayley didn�t want to see him again. He walked the last steps before he had arrived at his own floor. He looked over at his door just in time to see Hayley turning away from it. �Hey Hayley!� he shouted and waved to her. �Hey!� she said and a big smile appeared on her face. �I thought you might be avoidin� me�� she said slowly �After all this is like the third time I�ve been here� �Oh, I�m not avoidin� you. We just work a lot� Danny explained while walking over to her. He unlocked the door and showed her in. �Would you like some coffee?� Danny asked and started looking trough the kitchen cabins to find the coffee. �Yeah, that�d be nice� she said and sat down by the table. As Danny ran around the kitchen she started reading one of the magazines that lay on the table. Danny went through all the cabins twice but still couldn�t find any coffee. `What the�maybe were out� he thought and went over to Hayley. She looked up from the magazine as Danny started talking �so, I guess we�re out of coffee�C�mon! Let�s go over and get some from Tom and Dougie� �Ok� she said and they went over to the other McFly apartment. Danny knocked twice on the door before it was opened by Harry. �Hi Danny. HEY! Elevator girl! Hayley, right? It�s nice to see you again. C�mon in� Harry gestured and held the door open for her and Danny. �Hey Harry, did you know we�re out of coffee?� Danny asked once inside. �Yeah dude. We�re always out of coffee. We never bother to get any� Harry said and looked at Danny like he was crazy. �Yeah he�s right Danny� Tom turned around from his seat in the sofa. �We�ve not got any either but you know Dougie would love to go get some for you� �No dude!� Dougie said and hit Tom on the arm. �Auch, you little!...� Tom screamed and started chasing Dougie around the living room. �That�s ok. I don�t really drink coffee anyway� she smiled �you can join in picking at Dougie if you want� I�m a big girl. I can take care of myself� she said and laughed when both Danny and Harry accepted her offer and ran off to bully Dougie. When they were all done with poking Dougie they went back to the living room and found Hayley in front of the TV playing videogames. �You like videogames?� Tom asked and sat down beside her. �Yeah� she answered without removing her eyes from the screen. �You any good?� Dougie asked as he sat down on the floor in front of her and grabbed the other remote. �Nah, not really, but I still enjoy playing� she explained. �Just like Danny then� Tom smirked. �Shut up!� Danny shouted and Hayley laughed and drove her race car right into a brick wall. �AW! Well at least it was a nice crash, right?� she cried. �Yeah, sure. Really cool� they all assured her. She passed the remote over to Tom and turned around to face Danny. �So�Do you wanna do something?� she asked insecurely. �Yeah. C�mon.� he said and grabbed her hand. �Where do you wanna go?� Danny asked as he stepped outside the door. �Ehm�Dunno. Where do you usually go when you�re out?� she asked curiously. �Oh! I know! There�s this great caf� just a couple of blocks away� �That sounds great� she smiled optimistically. After a couple of minutes walk they arrived at the small caf�. �Ok. This doesn�t look too fancy� she said and smiled happily. �Yeah. It�s a nice little place and the best part is we always get the fittest waitress on duty so we�ll leave a big tip� Danny said speaking before thinking. �Oh well now that�s something every girl wants to hear� �Oh, sorry� Danny said sincerely. �That�s ok. All you have to do to make up for it is to tell me I�m prettier than every single one of �em� she said jokingly. �Dunno if I can do that, Sarah�s pretty damn hot� Danny teased. �Shut up!� she said and playfully hit him on his arm. They both laughed. When they left the caf� two hours later they were still talking like crazy and laughed. The date had been great. There had been no awkward silences or horrible, embarrassing moments. �So this was fun, but it�s getting kinda late� she said and smiled at Danny. �Yeah, I guess� Danny agreed quietly. �Um�I better get goin��� she said and started to back away slowly and reluctantly. �But I haven�t got your number!� Danny realized. He grabbed her arm and pulled her back in, close to him. �Oh, that�s right� she said and smiled happily about the new reason to delay her departure. �Here, I�ll sign your arm� she said flirtatiously. �Ok but then I get to sign yours� he answered just as flirtatiously. When they were both done they started inspecting their own arms. �Property of Danny Jones?� she asked. �Yeah� he answered with a big smile. �You know I never said we were exclusive�� she said with a mischievous smile as she walked away.
