SUMMER CAMP BEGINS! All students are expected to attend all or some of the 16th Annual Camp. We begin on July 6th at 7PM. Please send your $50 check made out to the McEachern Orchestra Guild. You may also register at 6:30 PM on July 6th.
CONCERT DRESSES: All 9th grade girls and new students will need a concert dress. Measurements will be taken in class in September. Dresses will be RENTED from now on for a $20 cleaning/repair fee staring with the 2008-09 school year. Girls who have not paid yet are being contacted.
NEW TELEVISION OPTION: If you have DirecTV, try Channel 274, Ovation TV. They have wonderful arts/music/dance programs, mostly from England. Check it out!
TUXEDO INFORMATION: All tuxedos should be passed out during September. Students who need to purchase articles of clothing will be given instructions on how to do so.
ORCHESTRA BLOGGING CONTINUES: Go to Blogspot.com and check out the Harmony for Humanity blog! OR, go to McEachern website, click "Activities", then click "Orchestra". If you would like to leave comments and suggestions, this is a good place to begin.
CHECK HERE if there is inclement weather (hurricances, War of the World invasions, etc.) for any cancellation of classes or concerts.
INSTRUMENT OBLIGATIONS: All students should have THEIR OWN violin or viola to play in class. Students are free to use school cellos or basses but are NOT allowed to use other student's instruments!
