This Web site was created as a culmination of an AP Literature & Composition class at McDonough High School during the 2006-07 school year. Its goal is not only for the students to demonstrate what they learned but also to provide future students with resources to succeed in the class. Twenty-one students were divided into three groups, one for each wing representing a literary genre and museum wing. Within each group, students took on various roles: two created original content, two compiled links, one gathered images, one designed the wing's Web page, and one supervised the overall completion of the project. Each wing includes an explanation of the genre, a historical outline of the genre, a close reading of a work from the genre, links to other helpful online resources, and a bibliography. We hope that all of this content will be of use to AP Literature students for years to come.
