Notes:
I thought this was going to be a decent episode, but it turned out being a major disappointment. It seemed like a rollercoaster, first it looked good from up high, then it went downhill to another lull. Unfortunately, the ending turned out to make the coaster crash. Hopefully that doesn't happen at your amusement park.

What other new drug is TPTB going to come up with as a source of blame for someone's death? If they're not going after a certain company, it seems they're attacking some pill or medicine we've never heard of before. Where then was Dr. Skoda or Dr. Olivet. The family was a mess and it seemed predictable where this was heading. I do feel sorry for the children, especially the young boy. Hopefully Jack or Serena had some sense to ask family court to petition that neither parent maintain custody. I would have loved to put both of them in jail.

There was no consistency, no real line which we can use to follow this story. It was nice to stick with the family angle throughout the hour and not go with arresting or questioning some sleazy drug dealer first. However, I think there now pulling out all the stops with the preliminary hearing and injecting the fight in the courtroom to gain our attention. What happened to the ex-boyfriend? Did he make a deal, what? He gets arrested and then disappears.

Four more episodes left this season. Hopeefully I won't be needing what the good doctor and the deceased was taking in this ep.
