Did anyone notice that in the opening scene, the woman with the blue blouse looked like it could have been Serena, or at least her twin. I know what some of you people might be thinking.

We see more intensity from Ed and passion as well. He has certainly improved throughout the years. But Lennie's one liners are coming back again and I think it's becoming too stale. Someone needs to give him a new edge or direction to utilize his talents and lead role.

As it has been the case in recent past, something that was RFTH suddenly turns into a love triangle. The last part with the weaving and dodging from the scorned wife almost made me want to vomit. I wished Judge Wally Schrieber was presiding because he wouldn't have allowed this farce to take place from Mrs. Blanchard based on what he did to Judge Thayer. Nothing against Judge Mellon, but to me she gave the Mrs. too much slack. Also, after Dr. Blanchard was acquitted, I would have had Jack bring in Lennie and Ed and arrest the wife for perjury right there in the courtroom. It wouldn't be the big prize, but someone needs to put the fear of God into that couple for their manipulation and conniving scheme. A young boy is dead! I know the Jack McCoy of old from S7 and 8 would have done just that.

With the SARS issue and possibly this being a case of bio-terrorism, they could have done a better job in portraying the raw emotions that we now face instead of playing the tired plot instrument of the love triangle.
