Notes:
This has to be the first time there were no supervising police leader (either Cragen or Van Buren) in any scenes of the "Law" part. What happened to Lt. Anita? Was she sick, had other commitments, etc.? You wonder if Lennie and Ed could actually do this on their own. I gave VB the 2 because her name did appear on the credits, like they do with tests.

Great to see Prof. Rothenberg back as defense counsel. However, I was very disappointed we didn't see another constitutional clash like in Black Tie or Jeopardy. Yet he was brilliant and put Beck in his place on cross. I can only hope he will reappear again since we don't know about Mellnick, and it's very likely the likes of Schell and Gold won't be coming back.

The Massucci family has been going strong for 13 years now. Maybe the late don's sister didn't do a good enough job in "chopping down the tree" as we thought since this family seems to reappear again and again since Torrents of Greed. .

I liked this ep from the beginning to end with the possible suspects and theories. I liked how they inserted many characters who could have been the actual killer besides Scofield. I was hoping though for more of an investigation into these bitter or sleazy figures, maybe Lennie and Ed (or better yet, Van Buren) do a background check and tell Jack and Serena in the "Order" part. Yet there was too much going on due to the trial and the DA's own investigation. The disappointing thing though was the very ending with the guilty verdict. For a moment, after Jack's cross of Schofield, I was anticipating a moment like Right to Counsel whereby the defendant committed suicide. There was that possible parallel and Wannabe with the working class father, in this case the MTA guy, confessing to the murder.
