Notes:

I had a feeling that eventually we would be seeing some kind of ep relating to the rising drug trade in Afghanistan and the war there to fight terrorism.  After seeing this episode, I can only say this was a normal ep with nothing terribly exciting or new to ponder.

The jury made the right call in convicting this war lord and not being blinded by the notion that he was just doing his part to help the Americans.  In a sense, the defense made Jack's case more than Jack did by saying that Kahlil was a drug dealer.  Duh.  If you're a drug dealer, then is it too much of a stretch to think you're a murderer?  Especially after you're stash of heroin is taken from you?

So what it comes down to a typical recent episode involving the war on terror and Americas role in it, albeit done with a different spin than before.
