Notes:
As for this ep, I first will pose a poll question to see
which ep about the homeless do you think was the best. Take the time to vote on
this. I liked again the odd L,O,L,O format which they used during this hour. It
was done in last season's Absentia ep. It also seems they are willing to
boil two stories into one and then add a general issue such as the plight of
the homeless. That's why I included the poll since quite honestly this hasn't
been talked about on L&O since S4's Volunteers . When it came to the
RFTH format, they combined the story of the woman who killed the homeless guy
in her car in TX I believe and also that of the well known publicity agent from
the Hamptons who ran over someone with her SUV and didn't seem to care about
what happened.
But it was nice to boil things down in the storyline along
with the homeless issue and develop a well written plot. Also I should mention
the lines are now being drawn between Arthur's "compassionate
conservatism" and Serena's "limosine liberalism." Loved that
exchange when they were sipping their drinks.
