Notes: This is the first time an ep is named after a soap opera. What's next, "Guiding Light," "As the World Turns"? Wait a minute, back in season 7 we had "Passion," albeit before NBC brought to the air with the additional "s."

This ep was a true soap opera, and guess what it was OK for me. I liked the fact they only focused in on two suspects without weaving too much back and forth. The preliminary hearing idea was great too. I didn't know that NY law allows that. That seemed to be a California thing with OJ.

BTW, this ep was based on the Bill Cosby situation where he had an affair with a woman and the illegitimate daughter of his threatened to extort him. When Cosby's son died on an LA highway, some suggested the two were connected.

In any case, I liked the ep overall for keeping me intrigued. I can only hope that if Mr. Wolf and co does a show like this, I won't snooze like some of the other attempts to copy daytime soaps.
