Notes:

Oh my goodness!  You talk about a bombshell!  Was this something we expected or did this come completely out of left field?

I won't say too much about this ep, only to say this doesn't rival the last time a regular was gone in mid-season, Prince of Darkness.   The plot though in this episode was interesting and kept me going.

Looks like our friend Beck has a new look with the beard.

My thoughts about Serena is that she was looking for a reason to be fired and this was the last straw for everyone.  I get the sense that Arthur agonized about this for a moment, but felt it was best to cut ties now.  For a moment I thought he was going to recommend something about joining a firm like what Jamie is doing now.  In any case, I smell a lawsuit coming similar to what happened with Jeffries in SVU.

So, how would have Adam or Nora dealt with Serena's issues?  Most likely, she'd still have a job or at least demoted.

Great Mercedes that Joe has.

I've always felt that a casting change should be made during the off season, so as to avoid any possible confusion.  But now, would this make much of a difference?

I can't believe all the changes that has gone on this season.  This has the makings of a memorable one.
