| This year they dedicated the new Garfield statue. Jim Davis, the creator of Garfield, is from Grant county. Ten towns in Grant county will have thier own statue so fans can go on a "Garfield tour" A contest was held for the local school children to design the statue. Isn't he cute? |

| Wags and Paris got in on the "popcorn" action at the pet parade, where they won "Judges Choice" This years theme was "Got Popcorn?" I used Val-A tear mender to glue the popcorn on to the shirts. I knew there had to be another use for that stuff besides glueing puppy ears! |

| There are lots of other things to do at the festival. Four streets are closed off to traffic. There are booths with crafts and delicious foods, and of course the Popcorn Tent. Every night there is a band for entertainment, kids and adults pack the streets to dance the night away. I even got my Dad out there to dance with me, my Mom and my hubby got a big kick out of that! |
