| The Men's Chorus at Carroll is an extension of the Concert Choir. The singers rehearse during the regularly scheduled class time about twice a week. In addition to performing at all the major concerts during the year, the Carroll men sing with the young men from the middle schools in the Carroll Vertical Team, with all the other middle school and high school male singers at the CCISD Holiday Concert and some are featured with the local barbershop singers in a Spring Festival. In just 8 short years, a high standard of excellence in performance has been set and maintained. The men have already garnered 6 Sweepstakes Trophies and 2 Outstanding sight-reading plaques at Choir Contest, and in 1998, were awarded the "Best In Class" honor at the American Classic Crescent City Festival in New Orleans. Look for more exciting appearances from these guys in the near future. | ||||||||||
