| Open Contests: #1 "Roaring '20s Contest" Details: In Honors History we have been learning all about the '20s and I am completely fascinated (as I am with everything we learn in that class).. So I have decided to hold a '20s related contest. Make a doll from the '20s... think flappers, fringes, and long strands of pearls. For guys think pinstripe suits, fedoras, bowler hats, and knickers. Deadline: Until I recieve at least 10 entries and then I will give people a week from then to get their entries in. ---------------------------------------- #2 "Love is in the Air Contest" Details: Make a doll of your crush, spouse, or significant other... pretty self-explanatory. Deadline: See above deadline. -------------------------------------- #3 "Aristic Vision: Captain Weird Contest" Details: Okay, make a doll that somehow encompasses what this quote says to you: "I don't try to be Captain Weird, I just do what I do." There is a pretty broad spectrum of what you can do with this... so let's see some creativity here! P.S. The quote is by Johnny Depp in case you wondered :). Deadline: See above deadline. |

| General Rules: 1.) Your doll must be 100% Original! No frankendolling or dollmakers. 2.) Do not alter the base body (If one is provided of course!) You may change the coloring and face... but that is it! 3.) Your entry must match the theme given for the contest. 4.) Your doll must be saved in a transparent .GIF format. (you can go to www.gifworks.com to do the transparency). If you can't do that... email it to me and ask nicely and I just might do it for you. 5.) Dolls must be rated PG-13 - meaning no excessive violence, nudity, or blood. *Note: I will not accept any dolls that do not follow these guidelines. I will notify you if your entry cannot be accepted. If you resend it before the deadline you may still compete. Also, you may reserve an entry spot, and I will hold off voting until you get your entry in... but I expect you to be responsible and get your entry in within a reasonable amount of time. Thank you. As for voting... the winners will be decided through a web poll with anyone who wants to vote voting. These will not be the final results though... for I have a lot of my friends put in their two cents too. Ties are decided by a friend that I will pick - usually they are outside of the 'dolling world' so there is no favoritism. If there are any more questions please email me.
