The
Two Trees

There once were two trees
One tree said to the other,
"I am the tallest tree in the whole world!"
The other tree couldn't believe what he was hearing,
"I am the tallest tree in the whole wide world!" He said.
"Ohhhh No, I am the tallest tree in the whole world and I can reach to the sky!"
The first tree said, "I am most certainly the tallest tree inthe whole world and I can reach the Moon!"
At just the moment when both trees were arguing the loudest a small but very determined beaver stood between both trees. Licking his long sharp teeth he thought to himself,"Hmmmm, how nice it would be to have these two trees to make my house with!" Then he began chewing away.
The Two trees were too busy bickering over who was the tallest to even notice the nasty little critter down at the bottom.
All of a sudden a sound that all trees never want to hear echoed all the way up to the top...
Chomp Chomp Chomp
Just then each tree came crashing down to the ground with a loud Swush and then a thump!
From that day on the Two Trees were no longer the
Tallest trees in the forest.
