| Standing, his outstretched arms towards me, His face, brighter than the sun, A beaming from gem-like pools, As he looks upon me. His gaze is glorious to me, He has shown the meaning of his love, Running to him, holding him tightly, Lowering upon knees, I kiss his feet. The life I live is in him, The love I give comes from him, The smile you see is in him, He is my Master, my Teacher, my Best Friend. Through the darkness and the light, He is with me, holding me tight, I shall not fear, crumble nor cry, He is always with me, right by my side. The tenderness of pure joy and love, Flowing from his caring heart, I pray up to the heavens above, His teachings and guidance will never part. My life is lived for him, My love comes from him, My smile you see is in him, He is my Guide, my Healer, my Best Friend. (MC) lakia |
