A Master/Mistress (Dom/me) is responsible for the actions, health, happiness, care and training of Their lil ones (sub/slave). They are responsible, but Their lil ones (sub/slave) are held accountable for their actions. If a lil one (sub/slave) acts in a manner that is not appropriate, or that goes against their training, then that training must be re-enforced. In the infraction occurs because of a lack of training or unclear instruction, then the lil one (sub/slave) is not accountable for the offence, but their Owner is still responsible for correction, training or clarification of the rules.
A Master/Mistress (Dom/me) is a reflection in the actions and attitude of Their lil one (sub/slave); they are the true mirrors of the Owner's soul. The responsibility of any One that takes on the submission of another is vast and a constant check must be kept on the Master/Mistress (Dom/me) motivation and expectations of Their sub/slave (lil one).
The Owner must realise that while a lil one (sub/slave) is Owned property, their act of submission to Them is a wondrous gift and a sacred trust laid at the Owners feet, and should be regarded as such.
A slaves (lil ones...subs) collar bears the weight of the Master/Mistress's (dom/mes) honour. If a lil ones (sub/slave) collar weighs heavy on the neck, what weight is born upon the shoulders of the Master/Mistress(Dom/me)? Owners must master Themselves, for if They are unable to, then They have no right or business guiding the path of another. This is not to say that the lil one (slave/sub) should behave contrary to their training, for they are the property of their Owner, and should behave according to their training, for they are accountable for their actions and have entrusted onto a Master/Mistress (Dom/me), their care as well as discipline. Owners must take care not only to punish correctly, but also reward appropriately, for all good things come from the hand of the Master/Mistress (Dom/me). |
