Rubus rosaefolius
Distribution in Canberra Region. Widespread and common in the
region.
Dispersal. Seeds are dispersed by water and animals.
General Description and Biology
A scrambling (rather than climbing) plant, often around rocks.
Superficially resembling a blackberry, but the leaves are elongated,
serrated, lightly sprinkled with hairs.
The flowers (spring-summer) are white, 5-petalled, rosaceous in form.
Mature fruits are dark red (not black), elongated.
