General Description and Biology
A typical tall branching conifer with branches radiating upwards.
Leaves evergreen, deep green, needle-like, to 10 cm long.
Invades any kind of terrain from nearby pine plantations, spreading from seeds liberated from the cones.
Smaller trees (up to 50 cm high) can be pulled out when the soil is reasonably soft.
If cut off at ground level, usually the stem will not grow again; but it is better to apply glyphosate.
