The #season was founded by }flake{ in the 20th century. It was created due to the jam in other channels in Undernet which didn't allow the members of 9701 of the Malay College to chat freely, even though Malaysia is a free country. Though, #season is always open to everyone in the net.

However, due to the ban set to Malaysian chatters caused by irresponsible users, the #season has been moved from Undernet to Dalnet to enable us to always keep in touch with each other, especially during the holidays.

Until now, the #season has been a popular channel, especially among the class of '01 chatters. Maybe, someday, somehow, the #season will make a debut as the first malaysian irc channel to have the most chatters in the net.
