Chapter 7: The Magic's Within

Chris, Sabbrielle, Moony, and Zackary were all sitting in the throne room. Zackary had changed clothes and was now being asked to tell why his eyes were completely blue like that. He had tried to avoid talking about it, but he knew it would eventually come up, since the Secret Adobe was not the most normal place in the world.
"It's not exactly something I want to talk about," Zackary said, with one last attempt to get them off the subject.
"You might as well tell us, because I don't think Sabbrielle and Chris will let you leave until they get an explanation," Moony said as Chris and Sabbrielle nodded their heads.
"Ever since I can remember I have been able to manipulate water. My parents tried to make me not use my power but I did anyways. Some people found out and they drove my family out of town. This lead to my parents fighting a lot and me coming to the Secret Adobe where I buried my power in a secret place in my room where it would be dormant and I couldn't use it anymore. When the Imposter came he must have somehow triggered it to become active again and a side effect of my power is that every part of my eye turns blue." Zackary said, remembering those painful memories.
"Could you show us as proof?" Chris asked.
"I dont know, its been a long time and the power might have been a one-time thing." Zackary said, wondering if he was just using that as an excuse to not use his power.
"It never hurts to try does it?" Sabbrielle asked.
"I guess not, but there is no water in the room," Zackary said, making more excuses.
"Well how much do you need?" Moony wanted to know.
"It just depends on what I'm doing, a lake, pond, or even a fountain is fine. I can also do smaller things like glasses of water but it's less convincing than the other things," He said, finally giving in.
