Chapter 16: Power Sources Are Found
"She's right, that does hurt." Zackary said as he got up from the rubble and dusted himself off. "That blast should have turned her into a puddle though."
"What, how, why, you, crash?" Anita uttered in amazment and confusion.
"I think what Anita here is trying to say is, how did you survive that?" Meg asked with equal amazement.
Zackary sat back down at the table and all eyes turned to him.
"I just made a little water cushion that broke the wall and kept me from hitting the other wall. I hardly felt a thing, of course the force from the blast itself, that hurt." Zackary said rubbing his stomach.
Everyone chattered among themselves for a minute then died down as Meg and Anita stood up once more.
"Now to address the problem of the power souces, Meg and I know where some are, but not all of them." Anita said, and going over to Lindsay's laptop she pointed to a few places on the screen which Lindsay had marked.
Everyone turned their eyes to the projector.
"What are we going to do with these power sources, anyway?" Meg asked.
"We're going to try and harness their power to defeat the Imposter." Moony said, also standing up. "It's risky and dangerous but I think it could work. Unless anybody else has a better plan?"
Moony looked around hoping for someone to raise their hand. Deep down she knew what could happen to the Secret Adobe if they used too much power, she also knew that the plan was very risky and could endanger peoples lives.
"I just also want to say, this plan could endanger people's lives, anybody who doesn't think they want to help anymore just raise your hand." Moony looked around.
