Yule is a time of renewal. It marks the rebirth of the Sun God. It is a time of renewal, healing, and peace. Spellwork that is appropriate for Yule is any spell having to do with renewal, rebirth, healing and peace. To connect with Yule's energies place an acorn or a pine cone on the altar. Cast the circle. Light the candles, place th Malachite Stone between the candles, and light the incense. Say this or similar words:
"Gracious Goddess, triple in your power
Bless me in this hour.
For this is the time of Yule
A time of cleansing and renewal.
Grant me your power and bless this rite
On this magickal night.
I celebrate the time of nature's sleep
In the winter so deep.
In the chill of the cold
I remember the warmth of the sun to hold.
