Ostara (Spring Equinox) is the beginning of spring. Spells appropriate for Ostara are spells involving fertitlity, growth, birth, and prosperity of any kind. To connect with the energies of Ostara place a rose of any color on the altar.
Cast a circle, light the candles and incense, place the crystal between the candles. Say:
"Gracious Goddess the time of renewal has come
Winter's grip we have broken from.
The flowers dance, the birds sing
Celebrating the first day of spring.
The green fields in the wind sway
All in honor of this sacred day.
The God has returned strong in power
I honor you both in this hour.
