Roy Campanella blasted 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI at Yankee Stadium as the
Hinckley Buzzards beat the Grand River Ghostmen by the count of 6 to
3.

Campanella had a great evening at the plate. He cleared the fences for a
two-run home run in the 4th inning, popped a two-run clout over the fence
(his 26th of the season) in the 6th inning and hit a single scoring a run in
the 8th inning. Juan Marichal(8-12) got help from Rollie Fingers who pitched
a perfect ninth and was credited with his 17th save.

Nick Altrock(0-1) was the losing pitcher. 'I had a big day, but there's a lot
of credit to go around' Campanella said. 'We played well together as a
team.'
