First baseman Jack Fournier had 3 base hits and 4 RBI as the Kelso Hilanders
defeated the pathetic Hinckley Buzzards by the score of 8 to 5 at Candlestick
Park.

Sam McDowell(12-9) had a steady outing.  He went 7 and 1/3 innings allowing 6
hits and 7 walks and served up 2 'big flies'.  Hinckley was out-hit by Kelso,
13 hits to 8. 

Frank Arellanes gained credit for his 3rd save.  Don Sutton(9-14) took the
loss.  The Kelso ballclub's record now stands at 65-78.  With the loss
Hinckley now has a record of 51-92, worst in the division.
