Mo Vaughn smacked 2 homeruns and had 6 RBI at Municipal Stadium as the N.
Ridgeville Bandits beat the Bat Cracking Bombers in 10 innings by the count
of 13 to 10.

The score was tied at 10 after nine.  N. Ridgeville won the game in the 10th
inning.  After an out was recorded, Tony Gwynn started the rally when he
delivered a base-hit.  Paul Molitor was next and he laced a single.  Ellis
Burks was a strikeout victim, unable to help out.  Vaughn came up and he
rifled a three-run blast (his 26th of the season) resulting in an exciting
win for N. Ridgeville and a wild post-game celebration by the home town fans.
N. Ridgeville had 17 hits for the afternoon while Bat Cracking had 14.

Vida Blue(2-2) got credit for the victory, pitching 2 innings and allowing 1
run. The losing pitcher was Bruce Sutter(4-1) in relief.  He served up 3
homeruns in his 1 inning.
