In a tight game it was the Kelso Hilanders 7, the Brentwood Bearcats 5 at
Tiger Stadium.

Jay Buhner provided the offensive punch.  He blasted a two-run home run (his
1st of the season) in the 4th inning, hit a single plating two runs in the
7th inning and laced a base-knock in the 9th inning.  Kelso totaled 10 on the
afternoon. 

The win went to Jack Pfiester(13-8) who allowed 4 runs in 6 innings. Mitch
Williams recorded his 17th save.  Walter Johnson(14-9) was the losing
pitcher.
