Larry Corcoran came through with a solid 9 innings and right fielder Hank
Aaron went deep and had 2 RBI at Network Asc Coliseum where the Bat Cracking
Bombers beat the Lake Erie Mohawks by the score of 5 to 0.

Corcoran(13-12) came through with a virtuoso performance against the Lake Erie
hitters.  He didn't allow much, just 5 hits and 1 walk in 9 innings.  Neither
team managed to score after the 3rd inning.

Jack Coombs(2-1) suffered the loss.  He gave up 5 runs in 3 innings of work.
'When Corcoran is on like that it is a tough game to play, no doubt about
it,' Lake Erie's manager said. 'He always pitches well against us.'
