Willie Keeler had 4 hits at Candlestick Park as the Hinckley Buzzards won a
thriller over the Brentwood Bearcats in, 8 to 7.

The game was decided in the 9th inning.  Carl Yastrzemski reached on an error.
Brock then stole second base.  Keeler then laced a base-hit.  After an out
was recorded, Orlando Cepeda stepped up to the plate and he slapped a
one-base hit making Hinckley the victor and beginning a joyous home town
celebration.  Brentwood scored in 5 different innings, but their shaky
pitching kept them from victory.

Kent Tekulve(5-4) got the win allowing no runs in 1 inning. Tug McGraw(0-1)
was charged with the loss in relief.  He was a hard-luck loser as he did not
allow an earned run in his 1 inning of work.

Hinckley now has a record of 50-87.  With the loss, the Brentwood ballclub's
record is 79-58.
