49,932 fans watched an exciting game at Dodger Stadium.  The North Eaton Posy
DagGumits topped the floundering Grand River Ghostmen by the slimmest of
margins, 6 to 5.

Both teams were tied at 5 runs apiece after nine innings. Finally, North Eaton
pulled the game out in the 10th inning.  Rico Petrocelli stroked a single.
Stan Musial came to the plate and banged out a single, and an error was also
committed, giving North Eaton the victory as 49,932 happy fans celebrated
wildly.  North Eaton out-hit Grand River for the game, 13 hits to 8. 

Jeff Montgomery(4-5) went 2 innings allowing no runs for the win. Frank
Smith(0-1) was given the loss in relief.  It was a tough loss for him as he
did not allow an earned run in his 1 inning of work. 

The North Eaton ballclub's record now stands at a division leading 83-51.
With this loss, Grand River has a 3-7 record of late, 56-78, worst in the
division overall.
