North Eaton bats came alive with a big 9th inning when they exploded for 12 runs on 7 hits. The big moment was provided by Roger Bresnahan who deflated the spirits of the home town crowd when he doubled which was good for two runs. North Eaton had 16 hits overall, while Kelso had 8. The victory was credited to Nick Maddox(1-0) who went 1 inning, allowing 4 runs. Al Hrabosky(0-1) was charged with the loss in relief. He gave up 6 runs and 3 hits without retiring a batter. Kelso's manager was not very talkative after his team's tough loss. 'I'm not in the mood for questions, but I'm sure North Eaton's manager will be glad to talk about the game as long as you have questions to ask.' |
